DSD Comment:  This is a special djembe! Not for the faint of heart or the soft hand, this drum is all solo! We have been looking for a line on Antelope skin for years and it now seems as if we have found it. Antelope is known for being the original djembe skin. The skins that we are using are thicker than goat, similar to a thin cow skin. What makes it original is that it's like a cross over between the sound offered by a goat skin and cow. These skins are thicker, harder and stronger which allows us to pull them exta tight. In additon, the shell was carved extra thick and it is an extra hard peice of djalla making it ideal to carry such a touch skin.  The combination of this shell and skin make for a balistic djembe ready to cut through any ensamble.
