This is a very nice Haré wood djembe from Mali that we headed with a thick goat skin from Senegal. We used three top rings and pulled the skin tight which gives this djembe a quick, solid feel. This is a great djembe to be cranked and used as a solo "popper" due to it's dimensions and thick skin, or tuned tight and used for accompaniment and some solo. A very nice djembe all the way around.
