Our Lightweight Line is a true innovation!  These drums are designed to be lighter in all areas; lighter in weight, lighter on the pocket book and lighter on the environment. We are proud to say that we have successfully met all three goals without compromising sound quality. 

The shells used for these drums have been built 100% out of North American Hardwoods via a state-of-the-art stagger seam lamination process. The shells have the look of solid exotic hardwoods, yet the majority of the shell is built out of more readily available woods such as birch. Due to their perfect symmetry, less wood is needed to uphold the same integrity of a thicker shell. The thinner shells make for lighter weight drums with a powerful and punchy sound.
