These are cow skin rounds, with hair, that are cut out of full cow hide ,from Guinea.  We love these cow skins because they produce such sweet sound, and they have a great thickness-to-strength ratio. These skins are typically thinner than American cow skins, however they sound better and tend to last longer.  We use these same skins on all of our Dununs and Congas, as well as some Djembes and Ngomas.

The hair colors are usually whites, tans, browns and blacks. We will try to match to your color preference if possible. Also, if you order more than one skin for the same drum, let us know and we will match the hair color of the multiple skins.
