Details
Many think of Bugarabu as a cross between a conga and a djembe. The tones and slaps have a very similar feel to a conga and the bass is more pronounced, similar to the djembe. Bugarabu originate from the Casamance region of Senegal and are generally played in sets of 2 - 5.   We head these drums with thick cow skin which brings out the best combination of bass, tone and slap.
