This is a super sweet Gele wood djembe from Mali that we headed with a thick goat skin from Senegal and the three top ring system. This djembe has it all! It has serious volume, with a deep tone and bass, and a slap that penetrates. We have loved having this drum around. It is fun to play because it has a sweet feel and sound. This djembe will be great for solo, and will do equally well with holding solid accompaniment.
