This Dugara wood djembe has got a great feel and is beautiful as well! The shell was carved by one of the best carvers in Mali and is even in thickness and consistency with no cracks. We headed this drum with a thick goat skin from Senegal. It is tightly tuned and has very good seperation between bass, tone and slap. This djembe is very well suited for solo as well as accompaniment.
