This is an incredible Lenke djembe from Guinea that we headed with a thick goat skin from Mali. The combination of the thick skin with the larger diameter shell gives this djembe a very rich, full sound. The bass is big, and the tone and slap are sweet with great seperation. This is an awesome djembe for the student and professional drummer alike. It has great volume and is tuned tight, which makes it easy to pull clean sound and play fast for long periods of time.
