DJEMBE - SECONDARY ITEM

Here at DrumSkulls we are extremely particular about everything we do. That said, if we are not 100% satisfied with a drum that has been headed it leaves us with two options…

The first is to take down the drum and re-head it. The second is to offer it at a lower price.

 

This drum is being offered as a “2^nd” meaning that it is not up to our normal quality however it is also not worth re-heading the drum. This drum is an excellent deal as you are getting a professional quality drum with only minor issues. This drum is guaranteed to sound great and be a quality shell. Issues that constitute a drum to be ranked as a second include aesthetic blemishes in the wood, minor cracks in the wood that have been fixed, the head being slightly out of round or minor slippage of the skin. At no time are drums sold as “2nds” that we consider to have any major issue that affect playability or durability of the shell.

DSD Comment:  This is a great drum at a steal of a price! This professional quality djembe has only a small aesthetic blemish on the side of the bowl where the wood has had some fill work done to it. This is a common feature with hand carved djembes however we can not consider it one of our 'Premier Line' drums due to this. If you are looking for a great drum at a discount you cannot lose with this one!
