DSD Comment: Sometimes photos just don't do these drums justice. This drum is an absolute collectors item! It measures out at 14" x 25" but it appears much larger than your average djembe. Much of this is due to the large flair at the bottom opening of this drum. We received 8 of these extra large shells in our last Mali batch. This is the only one that we were able to get headed up as the others all sold as custom builds prior to making it to the website. The other seven didn't last more than 10 days in the states before finding an owner. In short...very big drum with very big sound. This is a special drum!
