Carved out of a single piece of wood, traditional Drumskull dununs originate in the same locations as our djembes. As djembe is strong in the countries of Guinea, Mali, and Senegal, so too is dunun. Due to our relationship with the carvers of these countries, aesthetically our traditional dunun are known for their consistency in size, shape and roundness. Through the combination of premier quality hand carved shells, cow skins from the country of origin, and our heading method, these drums remain true to tradition. (Custom Sticks Included)
